Mike Bell spent years building a career in mechanical engineering, sales engineering, and executive leadership. Along the way, he learned that the best results always come from understanding how things really work. Eventually he wanted something more personal: a business rooted in Jacksonville, closer to the people he serves, and built around relationships rather than red tape. So he founded The Pest Company and brought that same engineer's mindset to every property. Investigate the problem, find the source, and solve it right the first time.

For Mike, the business has always been about more than pest control. He's passionate about community building, creating a culture where leadership knows what's happening both inside the company and out in the field, and making sure every client can talk to an owner when they call.

"When I started this, it was just me," Mike says. "Now I get to build it alongside Essie and Cooper, and our goal is simple. Treat every home like it's our own, and do it right the first time."
