The Pest Company was founded in 2025 with a simple goal: build something Jacksonville could be proud of, and something our family could pass down for generations. We began serving homes and businesses across Duval, St. Johns, and Clay counties in early 2026. Today we provide general pest control, termite protection, mosquito treatments, and rodent protection for residential and commercial properties throughout Northeast Florida.

It all started with Mike Bell. After a career in mechanical engineering, sales engineering, and executive leadership, Mike wanted to build something local. He wanted to stay close to his customers, solve real problems, and spend more time with the people who matter most. So he did what any good dad would do. He brought the family in.

Essie Bell brings nearly 15 years of leadership experience from Merrill Lynch, along with a background in commercial real estate. Her deep relationships with property managers and her gift for making people feel genuinely cared for shape the way we treat every client. Cooper Bell, Mike and Essie's son, grew up in Jacksonville and studied construction management at UNF. His hands-on field experience and understanding of how buildings come together help us spot the details others miss. He also represents the next generation of The Pest Company.
