Cooper Bell

Operations Manager

What's your title, and how would you describe your role?

Currently I am the person who shows up at your door to solve or prevent any bug-related issues.

Tell us about your professional background. What did you do before The Pest Company, and how does that experience show up in your work today?

Before The Pest Company, I worked in construction and was training to be a commercial pilot. I think both of these things helped with my problem solving skills as well as my ability to study and train effectively in a new field.

What part of the job do you love most?

My favorite part of the job is interacting with customers and helping to solve the issues they're having.

What's one thing you wish every homeowner or business owner knew about pest control? Different sprays/treatments have different purposes.

DIY pest control can often counteract what we are doing at your home.

What does "taking care of the little things" mean to you personally?

This means taking our time when servicing your property and not cutting any corners. We truly treat every property as if it were our own.

If you could get rid of one pest from the face of the earth forever, which one would it be and why?

Termites. They can cause a ton of damage without the home owner even knowing they're there.

What do you love doing when you're not working?

Hunting and fishing.

What's something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I am a Tennessee Volunteers fan.

What about Jacksonville makes it feel like home to you?

The community. Jacksonville is a huge city, but it also feels so small sometimes. I enjoy seeing familiar faces all throughout Jacksonville.
